Children's Ministries

Welcome to the World of Kids!

At Oak Street we take the children and ministering to them very seriously.  That's why we invest heavily in top-notch programs for them, training kids now for a lifetime of service and devotion to God.  In every aspect of ministry, children are challenged to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus.  The Word of God is taught to every age group at their own level.  While preparing them for a lifetime of service to the Lord.

The children's ministries could be divided into five areas:  Nursery, Sunday School, Children's Church, AWANA, and special activities like camp and Vacation Bible School.  

Nursery is provided for children birth to age 2 and is always available with dependable adults who give loving care during our regularly scheduled services. 

Children's Sunday School is for children 2 years through high school.  We combine active learning with the Word of God for a dynamic learning time involving Bible study and fun!  

Children's Church is held during our morning service and builds on what the children learned during Sunday School.  It is for ages 2 years - 3rd grade. 

AWANA is our Sunday night children's ministry for kids 3 years through 8th grade.  They play games, sing, study the Bible and have many special activities throughout the year. 

Vacation Bible School: Every year we have a great summer vacation Bible school and camp program through Village Creek Bible Camp.  We have a dynamic scholarship program where kids can earn money for camp.  

Whatever their age, the children of Oak Street are learning to enjoy a relationship of devotion to Jesus Christ.
